I’m not sure I quite understand the rationale behind fans raising money and then spending it on a billboard that asks a player to come to their city. In this case it’s some Chicago Bulls fans asking LeBron James to come to Chicago. It’s not as if LeBron will see the sign and then suddenly be persuaded. What it might be is a money grab or a promotional tool for a website. We told you about the LeBron to the Bulls site before, and it’s this same group that is now seeking dollars for a downtown Chicago billboard.

$6 – In honor of LeBron’s new number & Bulls Championships in the 90s
$13 – Show your love for Joakim Noah
$19.84 – In honor of the year The King was born
$23 – In honor of MJ and LeBron’s former number
$29 – The number of teams that won’t be signing LeBron this summer
$44 – Number of years Da Bulls have existed
$68 – LeBron’s height
$82 – That comes out to $1 per regular season game that you want to see LeBron in a Bulls uni next season
This reminds me of the “Fire Lovie” billboard campaign. How’d that work out?
