Former Bull Steve Kerr Back at TNT

TNT announced a multi-year agreement with 5-time NBA Champion Steve Kerr to return to the network as a game analyst next season. Kerr will join TNT’s NBA Thursday night doubleheader coverage and will be a part of the network’s NBA All-Star weekend and NBA Playoffs coverage. In addition, he will be a key contributor for NBATV and NBA.com, providing analysis and commentary for The Finals, All Star Weekend and the NBA Draft. Kerr most recently served as president of basketball operations and general manager of the Phoenix Suns.

Is LeBron James to the Chicago Bulls a done deal? One GM says so, and that Chris Bosh is coming too. From Real GM: An NBA executive told The New York Times that, based on discussions with other team officials, he believes that LeBron James and Chris Bosh have already decided to sign with the Bulls. Chicago Bulls Draft Pick Kevin Seraphin Rejects John Wall

Draft day in 1984 forever changed NBA basketball. Michael Jordan went to the Bulls and the rest is history. MJ was not at the draft as he was preparing to play in the upcoming Olympics. But here is the video and the first pics of him as a Bull.

Ex-Bull Ron Artest Thanks His Psychiatrist

You gotta love Ron-Ron. He thanks pretty much everyone he knows in this video, including his psychiatrist, Dr. Sandy. Ron-Ron was definitely the player of the game. His defense was amazing and then he got it done on the offensive side too. It could have got really ugly when Artest got tangled up with Paul Pierce underneath the Boston basket, but Ron kept his cool. Now he is an NBA champion. We’re happy for you, Ron!

Chicago Bulls Hire Tom Thibodeau

The Chicago Bulls offseason has gone very well to date. They fired Vinny Del Negro and replaced him with one the game’s most successful and bright assistant coaches in Boston Celtics defensive guru Tom Thibodeau. Thibodeau is said to be signing a three-year deal worth around $6.5 million. Sources say he’s expected to keep longtime Bulls player and assistant Pete Myers and bring in former Bull assistant coach Ron Adams. LeBron James to the Bulls: The Billboard

I’m not sure I quite understand the rationale behind fans raising money and then spending it on a billboard that asks a player to come to their city. In this case it’s some Chicago Bulls fans asking LeBron James to come to Chicago. It’s not as if LeBron will see the sign and then suddenly be persuaded. What it might be is a money grab or a promotional tool for a website.
