Derrick Rose Leads the Bulls in a Laugher

Derrick Rose may have had some leadership and ankle issues earlier in the season, but he’s looking as dominant as ever recently. This kid is a leader, and he led the Bulls in a laugher against the simply brutal Pistons. Thoughts of Sacramento began to creep in, but we got to enjoy a serious beatdown by the Bulls.

Not much to dislike in this game. My favorite play (highlights below) was Tyrus Thomas’ jam off a steal. Clearly the defender should have just let him dunk the ball. But that defender was Ben Gordon. For reasons only known to him, Gordon initiated contact and fouled Thomas. But it was hardly enough to impede Thomas’ dunk attempt. Just ridiculous, much like the Pistons’ 13-game losing streak. Gordon played only 6+ minutes and sat most of the game with a hurt groin.
