Like most superstars, Jordan always had some ideas about who the Bulls should draft. He wanted Walter Davis on the Bulls in a bad way. That never happened.
Thankfully, one of his other requests was never granted either. From the excellent Dime Mag:
“Forget Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison; this one needs to be at the top of Michael Jordan’s resume the next time he goes for a front-office job. Former Bulls GM Jerry Krause revealed to the Boston Globe that back in 1987, Jordan was pushing him to draft Joe Wolf, but Krause stuck to his guns and took his guy. Some kid named Scottie Pippen.”
Big props to our man Crumbs for sticking to his guns and picking the namesake. If Pippen isn’t a Bull…well I don’t even want to think about it.

My favorite Michael Jordan moment was the shot he hit against the Utah Jazz in the NBA Finals to close out the series and win his 6th title. He pushed Russell out of the way, swished the jumper, and then left his hand dangling in the air.
Jerry Krause is still trying to stay relevant
