While I’m figuring out how Tyrus Thomas had 1 rebound for the entire game, let’s look at TJ Ford‘s line:
| M | FG | 3FG | FT | OR | TR | A | TO | STL | BLK | PF | PTS |
| 39 | 10-15 | 0-1 | 2-2 | 0 | 4 | 9 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 4 | 22 |
And that was off the bench.
There’s a few ways to look at the loss to the Pacers. You can say that it was a road game and the Bulls were short-handed with Salmons out. Or you could say the Bulls shot over 50%, scored over 100 points and still lost.
I’ve made it abundantly clear of what I think of Gordon’s defense, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention DRose. There seems to be a lot of young guards that have their way with Rose. Ford, Augustin and Calderon to name a few off the top of my head.
But Rose has the quickness and smarts to be a solid defender. This begs the question: are the Bulls coaches making Rose a better defender? Tyrus? Noah? Does someone have to be brought in to focus on D?
